Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care unit.
This position involves working night shifts.
The nurse will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 4:1.
Experience in critical care and telemetry is necessary.
The nurse will be responsible for accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration.
Provide care for ventilated patients and manage central lines and chest tubes.
Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
Perform phlebotomy and PICC line management, and provide management for patients with renal failure.
Wound care experience is essential.
Candidates should ensure they have proficiency in charting systems.
Flexibility to float to other areas when necessary is a requirement.
All candidates must be adaptable and prepared to support a variety of patient diagnoses.
