Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Epic experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in an IMC unit - Ability to float to other areas as needed Description: Nights: 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 06:15. Weekends required every other week. Holidays required as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If clinical requirements are met, candidates will be forwarded for a final decision. Manager will conduct interviews. Experience in managing a patient ratio of 3:1. Candidates must have experience in managing various high-acuity patients. Tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Candidates may care for COVID patients. Travelers are required to complete and pass an EKG exam within 72 hours of contract signing. Modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates should be prepared to float to other areas as needed, including rehabilitation if required. The unit specializes in caring for pulmonary patients, including those with tracheostomies, COPD, and end-stage renal disease. Candidates should have skills in managing ventilated patients, central lines, and various cardiac and metabolic conditions. This is a mixed acuity unit. Shift requirements include floating as needed and adhering to a maximum of 7 days of requested time off.
