Pay: $2046.60 weekly

Seven Healthcare are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves working in a high-acuity environment with an opportunity to transition into an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. Nurses in this unit will have access to a supportive, multi-disciplinary team and advanced medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU
  • Provide high-quality patient care for cardiac and post-surgical patients
  • Monitor and interpret EKGs and manage cardiac drips
  • Perform wound care and support post-operative recovery
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as Swan-Ganz catheters and Impella devices
  • Prepare for transition to ICU level care, including vented patients

Requirements of the RN - PCU
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of PCU or ICU nursing experience
  • Swanz and Impella experience required
  • Proficiency in wound care, post-arrest, and managing advanced cardiac conditions
