Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Stepdown Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a hospital setting. Must have at least 1 year of experience in PCU within the last 3 years documented on the resume. License: Must have an active license at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA BLS Certification required. Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in PCU documented on the resume. At least 1 completed travel assignment. Current NURSYS report must be included. Description: The unit has a combination of PCU and Med/Tele beds. The nurse-patient ratio is typically 1:5 and adjusted for acuity. Managers strive to provide a blocked schedule whenever possible. Candidates should expect a call from the designated area code. References within the same specialty are required. Resume must include the number of beds and trauma level for all facilities worked within the past 3 years. Employment type and the number of shifts worked per month should be detailed. Interview process will include a profile review. Candidates will be notified if an offer has been extended for the position.
