Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, travel experience preferred License: Must hold a valid state or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with charting in Epic Description: We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care unit. The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week. Candidates should have two years of nursing experience, with a preference for travel experience. Certifications needed include Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Experience with charting in Epic is required. Nurses should be skilled in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Experience in caring for ventilated patients is essential. Other key skills include interpretation of arterial blood gases and managing cardiac drips. Candidates should be capable of starting and maintaining IVs and managing tracheostomy care. Our patient-to-nurse ratio is typically four patients per nurse. This role will include collaborating with a variety of interdisciplinary support services.
