Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong critical care skills Description: Client is a community hospital that features 30 inpatient beds, including 5 labor and delivery suites. Located right outside of downtown, the facility offers comprehensive medical services, including cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, primary care, general surgery, urology, spine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and wound care. The facility serves multiple counties and is committed to providing positive impacts in the community. Travel staff are encouraged to return for multiple assignments due to the positive working conditions and supportive work culture. Documentation is completed using the Cerner system. The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 for day shifts and 1:6 for night shifts. Navy scrubs are required for the position. Team members include one Health Unit Coordinator and three Patient Care Technicians on day shifts and two on night shifts. Certification and skills in critical care are required.
