Job Summary:
Pre-Operative Registered Nurse position available in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role involves providing high-quality preoperative nursing care within a hospital setting, supporting patients scheduled for procedures requiring anesthesia. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), at least 1 year of nursing experience, location in Manchester, NH
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience, previous perioperative or preoperative nursing experience
  • Additional Information: The position entails working in a busy hospital unit that manages patients receiving general anesthesia across various departments such as the operating room, catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and maternity. The team utilizes Meditech Expanse documentation system, and all nurses work in both preoperative and post-anesthesia care units (PACU). Call responsibilities are included as part of the schedule. The unit maintains a positive team environment with advanced equipment and a focus on high-quality patient care.
