Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse OR to work at a facility in Sylmar, California.

Pay Rate: $69 / hour

Shifts Available:
  • 8 weeks only
  • 10 hours
  • Days, weekends and holidays

Nursing Specialty:
  • Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Qualifications:
  • Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working an 8-week assignment.
  • Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

Assignment Information:

Is currently in need of Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Recovery Room, providing ICU-level care to post-procedural patients, and have successfully completed formal training in post-anesthesia care. RNs must have experience caring for patients recovering from procedures originating from various areas, including the OR, IR, Cath Lab, GI, ECT, and pain procedures, as well as Orthopedics, Robotics, Ophthalmology, Colorectal, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery. RN must be skilled in monitoring patients' vital signs, managing post-anesthesia complications, administering medications, and providing patient and family education. RN must be adaptable, knowledgeable in PACU protocols and patient safety measures, and able to anticipate and respond to the needs of recovering surgical patients to ensure a safe and efficient recovery process.
