Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation in a PACU setting
Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase, including vital signs, airway management, and pain control
Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Support Pre-Op department functions as operationally required
Complete required learning modules and adhere to all facility compliance standards prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
PACU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments to support expedited placement
