    Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

    Contract | Days | Onsite | Weekend and holiday requirements per department

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation in a PACU setting
    • Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase, including vital signs, airway management, and pain control
    • Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
    • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
    • Support Pre-Op department functions as operationally required
    • Complete required learning modules and adhere to all facility compliance standards prior to and during assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days with no disciplinary actions
    • Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
    • Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • PACU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
    • Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
    • Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments to support expedited placement
