Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients in a PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patient condition before and after surgical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the surgical care team
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Pre/Post Op or PACU nursing
- Ability to travel and work on a contract basis
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification
- Experience in a high-volume surgical or perioperative environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
