Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times (7:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00) | Includes Call Shifts
Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in the PACU setting
- Assist with pre-admission phone calls for surgical patients as needed
- Float to affiliated facilities within the region as required
- Utilize Epic electronic health records system for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in call shifts as part of the variable schedule
Required Qualifications- Active, valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of PACU experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Willingness to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
- Familiarity with pre-admission surgical screening processes
- Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
