    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 post-anesthesia recovery care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2 (Phase 1) and 1:3–4 (Phase 2)
    • Manage a broad range of surgical cases including Orthopedic, Spine, ENT, General, Vascular, OB/Gyn, Plastics, and Urology
    • Monitor and recover ICU-level patients within the PACU setting as needed
    • Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips independently
    • Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weeknight call (minimum one night per week, 1800–0600) and weekend call (minimum one weekend every six weeks, Friday 0600–Monday 0600) with a 30-minute response time
    • Float as needed to an attached outpatient surgery center to provide similar care for endoscopy, orthopedic, and pain clinic patients
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU experience
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    • Ability to adhere to facility clock-in/clock-out requirements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing BiPAP and oral airway equipment
    • Familiarity with charge nurse responsibilities, including taking a patient assignment while in a charge role
    • Experience working in an outpatient or ambulatory surgery setting
