Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op in Easton, MD

Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Easton, MD

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Onsite | Shifts vary between 8 and 10 hours within the hours of 07:00–20:30; every other weekend required; on-call required

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in the PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
• Float within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope of practice as required
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• Willingness and ability to float within scope with no restrictions; comfort with on-call and weekend scheduling requirements

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• NRP or AAP certification
• Experience caring for a broad patient age range including pediatrics through adults
