Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions in a PACU setting
- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering individualized assessments and interventions throughout the recovery phase
- Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call shift per week and one late shift as required
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage on like units as necessary
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in weekend coverage rotation as determined by staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of PACU nursing experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
- Must be an experienced traveler; first-time travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying scheduling needs, including block schedule arrangements subject to unit approval
