Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x10-hour shifts | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during recovery
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms
- Communicate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams regarding patient status and care transitions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center PACU setting
