Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 40-bed PACU unit maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and standard PACU equipment
- Collaborate with PCTs and HUC support staff across assigned pods
- Perform and document patient assessments and interventions using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in call shifts as required per 6-week scheduling cycle (minimum 3 call shifts per 6-week block)
- Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale experience
- Proficiency with ventilator monitoring
- Ability to wear required scrub colors: surgical green or navy
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma care experience
- Pediatric patient care experience
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
