Active RN license
Graduate of accredited nursing program
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Previous perioperative, PAT, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities:
Provide pre- and post-operative care in SDC, PAT, and ambulatory surgery
Conduct pre-admission testing and surgical readiness assessments
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper documentation
Monitor recovery, airway, and post-anesthesia status
Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
Identify risks and ensure pre-op clearances are completed
Educate patients on pre/post-procedure instructions
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and care team
Document care and patient response in the EMR
