Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Burlington, VT. This role specializes in post-anesthetic care within a large teaching hospital, where rotating day/evening shifts and weekend coverage may be required. This opportunity demands a strong background in critical care PACU skills, offering a dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU
  • Provide comprehensive post-anesthetic care to patients
  • Monitor patients with critical care equipment including art lines and cardiac monitors
  • Administer and titrate IV medications and drips
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a large teaching hospital
  • Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system

Requirements of the RN - PACU
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in PACU settings
  • Experience in high acuity critical care PACU required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR within the past 2 years
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring and multiple titrating drips necessary
  • Background in a large teaching hospital
