Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, Days, Every other weekend, first to float
Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from surgery
- Manage ICU overflow patients including those on pressors, sedation, and ventilators
- Collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced PACU setting
- Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and ensure safe recovery from anesthesia
- Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Cerner EMR
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable managing pressors, sedation, and ventilated patients
- Ability to handle a variety of cases: general, ortho, neuro, vascular, burn, GYN, ICU
