Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse - PACU (Post Anesthetic Care Unit) in Albany, NY. This contract includes three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours total) and offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,400.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
  • Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery
  • Monitor vital signs and manage pain control in the immediate postoperative period
  • Assess patients for complications and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff
  • Educate patients and families on postoperative care and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policies
  • Travel to the assignment location and quickly integrate into the PACU team

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
  • Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Post Anesthetic Care Unit or similar setting
