Registered Nurse – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - PACU - Travel - (PACU RN)

RN PACU jobs in Providence, RI let you deliver intensive nursing care to post-operative patients at the facility. You will assess, monitor, and intervene for patients in the post-anesthesia care unit, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. To qualify, you need a current Rhode Island RN license or a license through the Nurse Licensure Compact, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 1 year of hire. At least 1 year of recent adult or pediatric critical care, emergency department, or PACU experience is required. Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
