We are currently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a respected acute care hospital in Silverdale, Washington. This opportunity is ideal for respiratory professionals with strong critical care, ventilator management, and NICU experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality respiratory care across a diverse inpatient population.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care services for adult and pediatric patients within the inpatient setting.
  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilatory support and non-invasive ventilation.
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis.
  • Set up and manage BiPAP, CPAP, high-acuity respiratory support, and mechanical ventilation equipment.
  • Administer aerosolized medications and nebulizer treatments.
  • Assist physicians during intubation procedures and airway management.
  • Provide respiratory support during conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures.
  • Deliver care to neonatal patients requiring respiratory support, including Level II nursery patients.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and respiratory care best practices.
