Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Initiate IV starts and provide moderate sedation
- Prepare surgical patients for surgery and provide phase 2 recovery
- Administer and monitor nerve blocks, arterial lines, central lines, and Swan procedures
- Work within the day surgery and preoperative holding units
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrable skills in IV starts and moderate sedation
- Experience in surgical patient preparation and phase 2 recovery
