### Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - PICU (645) **Job Description:** - **Location:** 7600 Fannin St, 5th Floor, West Tower - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 14-22 - Dynamic staff based on acuity and census - Day Shift: CNC with 4-6 nurses (prefer CNC free), Unit Secretary - Night Shift: CNC with 4-6 nurses (prefer CNC free) - Patient Ratios: Med/Surg 4:1 - Type of Equipment: Advanced medical technology - EMR System: Meditech - **Typical Hiring Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - **Preferred Qualifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Cleft palate repair and appendectomies - Chest tube management and lumbar punctures - Seizure management and non-invasive cardiology - Available services: Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, Thoracic cases - **Ideal Candidate:** - Supportive and collaborative team player - Thrives in a full team environment where everyone helps one another - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - PALS - **Floating Areas:** - NICU Level 1 or 2 only - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue - **Work Schedule:** - 4 weekend days every 4 weeks - No on-call requirement Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
