Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatric (OR PEDS) Registered Nurse position is available in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves providing direct clinical care to pediatric patients in the operating room setting, with supervision of staff and ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with the facility's clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Location: Detroit, MI
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, educational background in nursing, minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room nursing, and ability to work in Detroit, MI
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric perioperative care, ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification, and familiarity with pediatric surgical procedures
  • Additional Information: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to pediatric patients on a per-shift basis. The role involves supervising staff to which appropriate care is delegated and supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high standards of nursing care, staff competency, and resource management.
