Job Summary:
Pediatric Medical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing inpatient pediatric care with a focus on children experiencing gastrointestinal, endocrine, and infectious disorders, including sepsis, bariatric/nutritional restoration, and long-term behavioral health patients. The assignment offers a dynamic environment suited for experienced pediatric RNs seeking a clinical setting specializing in acute and complex pediatric care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BSN degree, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS certification, and a minimum of 2+ years of pediatric experience, preferably in an inpatient pediatric academic medical center. Experience with high-flow nasal cannula and chest tube management is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to acute care units, NICU, and North/South campuses within the Denver Metro area and up to 35 miles from the assigned facility.
  • Additional Information: The assignment begins on 08/18/2026 and concludes on 11/21/2026. Support and equipment include respiratory support available 24/7, Medfusion IV Pumps, Baxter Sigma IV Pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps. Behavioral health support is available on every shift. No RTO is approved during the first two weeks of the assignment, with up to 7 days off potentially reviewed upon request. Medical and religious exemptions to the seasonal influenza vaccine are permitted.
