Job Summary:
Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Floor Baltimore, MD. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses including prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic conditions. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including day and night schedules, with a primary focus on patient safety and care quality.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland or Compact State RN license, BLS, and CPI certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience; experience in pediatric, trach/vent management, and patient care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech charting system, community hospital settings, and LTAC facilities
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty/sister units as needed
  • Additional Information: The unit serves neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with daily census of approximately 32 across 9 rooms and 50 beds. Candidates should be comfortable with special equipment including trach/vents, PICCs/central lines, TPN, and other specialized pediatric procedures. The position involves supporting patients with various diagnoses, including prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, and cardiac defects. Candidates must complete onboarding modules within 5 days prior to the start date.
