Join a team that provides care for patients with conditions such as leukemia, solid tumors, sickle cell crisis, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and general adolescent medicine. The unit accommodates an average of 14-32 patients per day with a focus on patient-centered care. Patient ratios are 1:4-5 for RNs and 1:6-16 for CNAs. Support staff, including CNAs for vital signs and ADLs, are available to assist in maintaining high-quality patient care. Technological resources include an Electronic Medical Record system and advanced monitoring equipment. As part of your role, you will work collaboratively across various units within the organization, ensuring that flexibility and teamwork are prioritized. Expect to participate in weekend rotations and holiday shifts, working 75% of designated holidays.
