Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric OR Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Pediatric OR License: RN License in California Certifications: AHA BLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Operating Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Pediatric OR. Experience in scrub and circulating roles is preferred. The schedule includes night shifts with the possibility of days. Candidates must possess a current California RN License. BLS and PALS certifications are required. Experience at a teaching hospital is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of pediatric surgical procedures. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Flexibility to float to other departments may be required. All candidates must provide two references from their most recent employment. Additional required skills include infection control, wound management, and knowledge of Universal Protocol procedures. The role involves working with neonates, infants, and adolescents.
