Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS and PALS required; CNOR preferred Must-Have: Experience in pediatric general operating room, ability to float to different facilities, trauma level I experience preferred, experience in multidisciplinary team settings. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatric Operating Room. This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, with variable start times. The role includes potential for weekend shifts and the ability to float between facilities. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to neonates, infants, and adolescents. The focus is on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to care. The operating room consists of multiple surgical suites and procedural rooms. Services provided include neurology, orthopedic spine surgery, otolaryngology, urology, general surgery, and more. Experience in children’s surgery and familiarity with various surgical procedures are preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
