Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity intensive care unit setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage complex equipment, and perform specialized PICU procedures
- Adhere to facility dress code (navy scrubs) and float within department as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of PICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Must not be a current Arizona resident (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- PICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
