    Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Weekends and Holidays required per department guidelines

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity intensive care unit setting
    • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
    • Administer medications, manage complex equipment, and perform specialized PICU procedures
    • Adhere to facility dress code (navy scrubs) and float within department as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 24 months of PICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
    • Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
    • Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Must not be a current Arizona resident (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
    • PICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
