Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Float to additional units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, Stepdown, and Med/Surg, with appropriate assignments provided in each area
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in compliance with facility float expectations and unit-specific protocols
- Adapt to varying patient populations and acuity levels across assigned units
Required Qualifications- Active Ohio State RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (recent Level 1 experience required)
- Willingness and ability to float to multiple units per facility expectations
- 2 supervisory or professional references required at time of submittal, with at least one reference holding a manager or supervisor title
- Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Closer to 3 years of PICU experience for first-time travelers
- Recent Level 1 pediatric facility experience strongly preferred
