Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule, including every other holiday and 3 weekends per six-week schedule
- Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs and within scope of practice
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support critically ill pediatric patients
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted at time of submission; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification (copy required at time of submission)
- Current PALS certification (copy required at time of submission)
- Epic electronic health records experience
- Nursys verification required for submittal
- BSN preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills- Pediatric cardiac nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or related pediatric specialty
