Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) traveler position available in Aurora, Colorado. This assignment is projected for the upcoming viral season, with a tentative start date of November 3, 2026, and ending on February 6, 2027. The role involves providing specialized inpatient pediatric cardiology care, including pediatric single ventricle (3-stage) management, in a hospital setting. The position features a night shift schedule and requires adaptable clinical skills to meet patient needs within a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

  • Required Qualifications: BSN degree, valid licensure/certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), prior travel RN experience, at least 2 years of experience in inpatient pediatric cardiology (ICU or intermediate care).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric Ventricular Assist Device (VAD).
  • Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility.
  • Additional Information: No RTO approved during the first two weeks of assignment. Medical and religious exemptions from the seasonal flu vaccine are allowed.
