Schedule
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Schedule: 3 or 4 × 12-hour shifts (36 or 48 hours/week)
- Contract Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
Job Highlights
- Join the Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown/Intermediate Care) at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside, a respected acute care hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced assessment between ICU and medical-surgical levels of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, administer medications, and support patients throughout their recovery.
- Utilize Cerner EMR while following Ascension's evidence-based nursing standards and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Active RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Experience in Progressive Care/Stepdown or Intermediate Care preferred
