Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.
o Beds: 16 bed
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years STAC required, 3 preferred
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? no
? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Solid tumor removal, bowel reconstruction, flaps, fresh tach s, new ostomy, tpn/lipid, tubes drains, Ileus
? Patient Ratios:
o RN: 1:4-6
o CNA: 2 CNA s per shift, 1 clerical during the day
? Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS, NIHSS
? Skills required:
o Port access, TPN/Lipid admin, PICC line management, no chemo, wound maintenance, NG tubes
? Support within the Department:
o CNA
o Receptionist
o Charge nurse takes assignment
o Phlebotomy staffing dependent, nursing may be responsible for lab collections
o Vascular access team
