  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac or progressive care units (PCU), and experience caring for cardiovascular patients including rhythm recognition, epidurals, and chest tubes.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drip management (nitro, heparin, amiodarone, etc.), familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC, and ability to handle telemetry monitoring and device management.
  • Additional Information: The candidate should possess a respectful, calm, and kind demeanor, with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Orientation comprises 12-hour shifts, and the schedule accommodates block scheduling within 6-week cycles. The unit supports first-time travelers and includes float coverage across Med-Surg units, ICU overflow, and other departments as needed. No on-call requirements, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.
