Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves caring for cardiovascular patients such as post-operative open-heart, cardiac catheterization, arrhythmia management, and other telemetry cases. The position requires strong cardiac care experience and a calm, respectful demeanor to support team collaboration and effective communication.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, in a 12-hour shift cycle.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of strong cardiac or PCU experience; valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); licensed in the state of Washington.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for cardiovascular patients, ability to interpret rhythms, and manage epidurals and chest tubes.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage on Medical-Surgical units, Intensive Care Units, and overflow assignments.
  • Additional Information: Orientation will be provided through a 12-hour NEO2 shift, with schedules arranged in 6-week cycles to accommodate preferences. No on-call requirements; opportunity to pick up extra shifts. Holiday staffing expects availability for 2 of 3 holidays.
