Job Details:

  • Location: Spokane, WA
  • Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a schedule cycle set in 6-week periods and rotations including every other weekend.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 2 years of strong cardiac or Progressive Care Unit experience, reliable commute to the facility located at 800 West Fifth Avenue, Spokane, WA.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, rhythm identification and interpretation, epidurals, chest tubes, and cardiac drip management including nitroglycerin, heparin, amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, and dobutamine.
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for cardiovascular patients, supporting a high-functioning team, and adhering to facility protocols. Orientation includes NEO2 12-hour shifts of unit orientation. No on-call requirement, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts if interested. The unit emphasizes behavioral and personality fit, focusing on calm, respectful, and effective communication. The traveler may float to MedSurg units and ICU overflow as needed, and scrub color must be solid, professional attire. Parking is available through Town Park with free and paid options.
