Travel RN | Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Nights

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 3x12-hour night shift position caring for patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care. The ideal candidate will have strong PCU and telemetry experience and be flexible to float to units with the same or lower level of acuity as needed.

Schedule:

  • 3x12-Hour Night Shifts
  • Weekdays and some weekends
  • Rotating holidays
  • Floating required to equivalent or lower acuity units based on staffing needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required

Certifications Required:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)

Required Skills:

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing
  • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • IV insertion and management
  • Medication administration
  • Cardiac and respiratory assessment
  • Care of patients requiring continuous monitoring
  • Rapid recognition of patient deterioration
  • Accurate documentation in Epic
