Travel PCU / Telemetry RN | 13-Week Contract

Join a supportive PCU/Telemetry team with a traveler-friendly environment, EPIC charting, and opportunities for first-time travelers!

Specialty: PCU / Telemetry RN
Contract: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 3x12s (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Requirements:

✅ Active RN License
✅ AHA BLS & ACLS required
✅ First-time travelers welcome
✅ EPIC experience preferred

Unit Details:

  • 42-bed PCU/Telemetry service across two units
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 (Days & Nights)
  • Charge nurses available on each unit
  • PCT support available
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Philips cardiac telemetry monitoring

Patient Population:

  • Chest pain & elevated troponins
  • Pre/Post cardiac catheterization
  • Post-STEMI recovery
  • NSTEMI
  • Pacemaker patients
  • CHF and cardiac medical patients
  • Oncology overflow
  • Post-operative orthopedic patients
  • Peritoneal dialysis (training provided)

Required Skills:

  • Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
  • Cardiac medication management
  • Care of cardiac patients
  • Management of Bipap, CPAP & High-Flow Oxygen (with RT support)

  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Block scheduling available if approved
  • Rare floating within skill set
  • Hospitalist, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy available 24/7
  • Traveler-friendly orientation
  • Navy blue scrubs required
