A registered nurse position is available in a step down unit at a healthcare facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Job Details:

  • Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Arkansas Licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, at least 2 years of experience in a step down or similar unit.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-coronary artery bypass surgeries, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipaps, utilization of Airvos, and ability to recognize a deteriorating patient.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is required. The role involves working on a unit with designated patient ratios and equipment.
