  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; a minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired; 0 years of experience is required.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify education needs and goals.
    • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in medical records.
    • Participate in patient rehabilitation activities on assigned units and provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
    • Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide patient teaching for discharge readiness.
    • Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and safety.
    • Delegate and oversee the work of ancillary nursing staff, providing supervision and direction.
    • Maintain safety standards following hospital policies, report hazards, and participate in team building activities.
    • Manage supplies, equipment, and clinical needs efficiently and effectively.
    • Assume charge responsibilities following orientation and pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care setting is highly desired.

  • Additional Information: The RN must adhere to all hospital guidelines regarding personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Team collaboration and a calm, professional demeanor are essential for success in this role.
