Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit registered nurse (RN) position available in Panama City, Florida. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a specialized acute care setting. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift for CIRH only. A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and provides patient education. Initiates discharge planning from the day of admission and ensures effective communication among care team members. Supervises ancillary nursing personnel, maintains safety protocols, and participates in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Assumes charge responsibility after orientation and actively pursues ongoing professional development.
