The role requires providing specialized care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient recovery and safety.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience in a critical or acute care setting, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high acuity patient care, certifications in specialty areas such as ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, or NRP, and familiarity with post-operative cardiac care
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The unit cares for patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures, including drip titrations, chest tubes, and breathing support devices. The role involves adherence to hospital protocols and SOPs to ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards.
