Registered Nurse - Palliative Care

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, up to every other weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead meaningful goals-of-care conversations that truly make a difference for patients and families
- Develop daily patient lists and conduct thoughtful chart reviews to ensure comprehensive care
- Assess patient needs and provide compassionate education on disease processes and advance directives
- Facilitate family meetings and offer supportive end-of-life discussions when needed
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team during daily rounds
- Manage a rewarding caseload of 5-6 new patients and 3-4 follow-ups each day
