Job Summary
This is a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nursing position located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The facility requires experienced Registered Nurses to join a fast-paced, high-volume recovery environment, providing pre- and post-op care for a diverse patient demographic across multiple service areas. The role offers various day shifts aimed at supporting a cohesive team approach to patient recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, varying shifts from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2-3 years of experience in PACU or similar environment, travel experience, expertise in intravenous (IV) skills, and a positive attitude. Pediatric experience is highly preferred, with a 4-day preceptorship for pediatric cases and a 3-day preceptorship for adult cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in larger hospital settings (500 beds or more).
• Additional Information: No on-call or weekend requirements. Orientation includes preceptorships tailored to pediatric and adult cases. The unit handles an average of 70 recoveries and 95 pre-operative patients daily, with functional OR bays and procedural areas including cath lab, interventional radiology, electrophysiology lab, and MRI. Effective teamwork and adaptability are essential in this fast-paced environment, with guaranteed two breaks per shift.
