Job Summary:
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurses are sought for a healthcare facility located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The position involves providing direct clinical care to post-anesthesia patients in a busy PACU environment. The role requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards to ensure optimal patient recovery and comfort.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 0 years of experience; relevant certifications or training in post-anesthesia care preferred; current CPR certification; compliance with facility onboarding requirements including healthy interventions; PACU or anesthesia care experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a PACU or post-anesthesia setting; certification in advanced life support such as ACLS or PALS is a plus
- Additional Information: The PACU nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and supervising direct patient care in the PACU. The role includes overseeing clinical staff, ensuring high standards of safety and quality, and supporting the facilitys chief nursing officer in resource management and compliance. The PACU or Pre-Operative Care Nurse may be tasked with supervising staff and ensuring smooth patient recovery processes.
