Job Summary:
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, performing health teaching and counseling, providing therapy and treatment to support life and well-being, and executing delegated medical functions. The RN will also document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and may be required to float to other departments or be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for unit or service.

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Certification as appropriate for unit or service.
