Cardiac Device RN | Seattle, WA | Outpatient + Inpatient SupportWe are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Device RN to join a leading cardiac program in Seattle, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Electrophysiology providers in a dynamic outpatient clinic with inpatient support, specializing in advanced cardiac device management.
Position Details- Title: Cardiac Device RN
- Location: Seattle, WA (98101)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8-hour shifts)
- Shift Times: Staggered start times (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM range)
- Employment Type: Contract / Travel

- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: None

Unit Overview- Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Device Clinic + Inpatient Peri-Op Support
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Support Team: 1 Device RN + 1 Device Tech (permanent staff)
- EMR Systems: Cerner | Contado (Device Management System – training provided)
- Orientation: 1–2 days general + up to 5 days with preceptor
Key Responsibilities- Perform device interrogation and programming
- Manage implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, etc.)
- Conduct post-operative wound assessments and follow-ups
- Monitor devices remotely and respond to alerts
- Provide peri-operative device management for inpatient cases
- Collaborate with EP physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients on device care and management
Device Experience RequiredCandidates must have hands-on experience with:
- Boston Scientific
- Medtronic
- Abbott
- Biotronik
Required Qualifications- Active RN License
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) – REQUIRED
- Strong experience in device interrogation & programmers
Highly Preferred- Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
- Experience with post-implant wound management
- Prior experience in both outpatient and inpatient device management
Additional Information- Floating: Between inpatient & outpatient settings within the same facility
